Meet Pogo— a 2-year-old, 21-lb dachshund mix with the bravest little heart and a spirit that refuses to quit.

Pogo came to us after being run over by a car. Instead of receiving veterinary care, his injured paw was left untreated until it began to rot… and tragically, someone in his community chopped it off with a hatchet.

When Pogo arrived, he was terrified, wormy, and in pain — but still wagging, still trusting, still fighting.

Here’s the good news: Pogo can walk, run, and live a happy, pain-free life again with the help of a custom prosthetic foot, which he is currently being seen by a specialist for and will overcome his handicap with no issues!!

OUR LENOARD!!

This dog has more personality in one paw than a whole sea full of animals.

He makes his foster laugh on a daily basis but also, she cries.

She cries because they ADORE each other, and as badly as she wants him as her own, she has other dogs that will not allow that to happen.

Therefore, he stays in an outside kennel where he is well behaved but sits patiently waiting for his outside playtime with her.

This dog loves her with every inch of his soul, which tells us he understands that he now has someone in his life who is showing him love and attention for the first time ever.

Roscoe is a 2-year-old sweetheart who’s been waiting far too long for his chance at a loving home.

This fully vetted, housebroken and crate-trained guy spent most of his life on a chain, and for the past year, he’s been stuck in boarding… a concrete cell far from the love he deserves.

Despite it all, Roscoe remains super friendly, laid-back, and welcoming to everyone he meets. He’s the kind of dog who would brighten any home with his gentle attitude and wagging tail.

We can't say enough about this guy!!! He will require a fenced in yard as he still needs leash work ~ he sometimes thinks he is to walk you 😂

We are desperately looking for a foster or forever home where Roscoe can finally live the life he’s been waiting for. 💛

I was picked up on 5/21/24, and have been inside a kennel ever since.

I really would like to find myself inside a foster home or my forever home ~ that would be much more ideal than in this boarding facility. I am frightened of storms and shake during these pop up spring showers. I really want out of here!!!

I am dog friendly but need slow introductions since I have had limited exposure to socialization but love to play once I feel safe.

I am way too curious about the felines, so I don't need a home that will tempt me!!!

Meet Barney, our gentle giant with a heart as big as his paws 🤍🐾

Barney is a BIG boy white German Shepherd with the best personality you could hope for. He has an incredible temperament, is highly intelligent, and already knows his basic commands. He loves a good game of fetch, enjoys people of all kinds, and gets along well with dogs and cats alike.

Despite his size, Barney is not high energy. He’s more of a thoughtful soul who enjoys companionship, playtime, and being near his people. Once he gains some much-needed weight, he’s expected to be over 90 lbs of loyal love. Those beautiful ears don’t miss a thing, and his sharp mind is always taking it all in.

Right now, Barney is stuck inside animal control, and it’s breaking him. The loud noises and constant stimulation leave him frightened and overwhelmed. This is not where a dog like Barney belongs. He needs a calm, loving home where he can finally relax, decompress, and show the amazing dog he truly is.

Frankie is one smart cookie 🍪
He already has a solid grasp on “sit” and “paw”, and has been actively working on recall, “down,” “kennel,” and “place.”
His strong food motivation makes training fun and effective.

Manners & Home Life:
• No counter surfing
• Improving leash manners (still gets a little excited meeting new people and dogs)
• Crate trained and does well in his kennel
• Potty trained and knows to go outside
• Alerts when someone is at the door, but otherwise not a barker
• Gentle player, not rough or mouthy
• Comfortable having ears, paws, and tail handled

Personality:
Frankie is a total cuddle bug who loves getting under blankets 🥰 He enjoys walks, jogs, and exploring outdoors, but is just as happy relaxing in the living room with a Kong stuffed with peanut butter.

Frankie has everything going for him except one thing: a place to land after 1/7. Boarding is no place for a dog who thrives on companionship, routine, and love.

He is fully vetted and 40lbs.
